Arteccentrix artists in residence program is new for 2011 and the move to the new studio and gallery space in Dorcy Drive in George Town.
Of course, the primary artist in residence will be owner Nickola McCoy-Snell who will be seen regularly working on the premises and talking to visitors and customers about her work and the creative process, offering a real insight into her own working life as a full time professional artist and individual art pieces themselves.
Visitors passing the studio are encouraged to call in and chat with Nickola on the days she is working and no appointment is necessary – just a quick knock on the door or ring on the doorbell will be answered if we are around.
At the same time you can take the opportunity to view some of Nickola’s completed works which are available exclusively only at Arteccentrix – you will not find a Nickola McCoy original painting in any other retail store, cafe or gallery on the island. You will also be able to see a number of pieces by our other talented artists who you can read about elsewhere on the site.
The artists in residence program will be an “open house” event and whenever we have someone working in the space it will be announced via our newsletter, website and other online channels such as Facebook and Twitter.
