Cayman Islands Art at Arteccentrix Fine Art Services – Grand Cayman

Arteccentrix Owners Maurice Snell and Nickola McCoy Snell
The concept of Arteccentrix was formed many years ago at a time when owner and artist Nickola McCoy-Snell was just a child with a dream and a life already being shaped by her passionate love of art, her desire to express herself and a creative energy that knew no bounds.
Nickola’s talent as an artist soon propelled her to the top of the art world in Cayman and her work quickly gained recognition and admiration from critics and collectors not only in her homeland but much further afield as well. Her work now resides in public and private collections in North America, Europe and the Caribbean.
With a lifetime of experience and hands on involvement in the local art scene, Nickola’s achievements as an artist led to the birth of Arteccentrix as it is in the present day. Initially the name was used for a fine art printing service that Nickola and husband Maurice ran from their home in West Bay. The Arteccentrix brand was launched online at the same time with the company’s first website offering quality reproductions of Nickola’s own work and that of a small number of other local artists.
It was almost inevitable that the next step in the evolution of the company was a move to a commercial premises and in early 2010, Arteccentrix opened its doors as a commercial fine art gallery from its first home in Governors Square. Over the next twelve months Nickola curated some of the best group and individual shows ever seen in the islands, highlighting both established and emerging local artists, gaining much media exposure and popular acclaim in the process.
Arteccentrix quickly became known as a forward thinking and innovative space for exhibitions but the growth of other areas of the business led to the difficult decision to close the space in early 2011 to concentrate far more on the company’s unique and innovative fine art services and Nickola’s own artwork which had been severely curtailed due to her business commitments.
Now located in central George Town, Arteccentrix Fine Art Services brings together Nickola’s decades of experience, dedication and talented eye with her husband’s printing and technical skills to offer clients a one of a kind approach to art projects large and small.
Continuing to raise the bar and deliver excellence remains the aim for each and every job undertaken. With the passion and dedication of a true artist Nickola constantly strives for improvement and refinement in the services on offer for art lovers, buyers, collectors and artists, just as she does whenever she puts a brush or knife to canvas.
